One area of in-depth technical specialization is legacy CAD system conversion. Her firm has assisted four of the world’s largest CAD vendors in analysis of the UD design and construction market. Fallon is a licensed architect who worked for 15 years in large A/E firms. She began her career at the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, where she developed the documentation, training program and support group for SOM’s proprietary CAD software, later marketed by IBM. Fallon is a recognized leader, lecturer and author in the field of applying information technology to architecture, engineering and facility management. In 1995, she was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
