Thank you to Steve Tatge, Executive Director of Major Capital Projects for UW’s Capital Planning and Development group, for hosting our 2018 NWCCC Project Tour.  A group of 15 NWCCC members listened to Steve explain how the UW manages an ongoing portfolio of $1 billion in capital spend, and what the future holds for construction around the UW campus.  Following the discussion, members toured three construction sites on campus:  the Bill & Melinda Gates Center for Computer Science & Engineering, the new Life Sciences Building, and the New Burke Museum.  We appreciate Steve’s time to help educate our members on outstanding project delivery!
